Reiki is used to help release tension and heal the body; it can lower your heart rate and blood pressure along with lowering stress hormones and increase your immune strength. Reiki can also reduce anxiety, fatigue and pain along with many other positive uses. Reiki as an integrative therapy is good to try due to the fact that one usually starts to feel better quickly- when we don’t have as much pain and reduce our stress it makes it easier to make other needed lifestyle changes; and gives one good hope in regaining health in their everyday life.
At this point in time there have not been found to any adverse effects with the use of Reiki.
