What is a dermaplaning treatment?

Dermaplaning is an effective method of exfoliation allowing increased efficacy and penetration of topical ingredients. Using a blade dead skin cells are removed from the epidermis. Along with exfoliating, dermaplaning also helps remove the unwanted velus hairs (peach fuzz) from the face; it leaves the skins surface very smooth allowing makeup to glide on effortlessly.  Usually, you can see a difference after the first treatment. While this is an aggressive treatment, dermaplaning does not break the capillaries on the face and is suited for most skin types.  According to beauty lore- Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe and Cleopatra all used dermaplaning on a regular basis.
