Here in Colorado you must be licensed thru the state as an esthetician or cosmetologist to legally apply lashes. You can look up your lash artist at https://www.google.com/search?q=colorado+dora+license+lookup&oq=colorado+dora+license+&aqs=chrome.3.69i57j0l2j35i39j0l2.12954j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
By typing your lash artists first and last name into the look up form; selecting Colorado and then search- your lash artist should be on the Colorado DORA list- if they are not on this list… more than likely they are not licensed to apply lashes in Colorado. Most Estheticians and Cosmetologists carry liability insurance as well; most insurance will not cover any service that is not in the scope of practice of a certain job category. This being said there are many individuals that claim to be Lash Artists that may or may not have proper training. Do your research before getting lash extensions from a Lash Artist- if lashes are not applied correctly they can cause damage to your natural lashes.
